What is Matrimony?
In the Sacrament of Matrimony, married couples enter into a lifelong covenant of love. They commit to serving each other and the Church through their love and participation in God's creation in the birth of their children. This vocation was established by God in the beginning and reflects the indivisible unity of the love of God. In Matrimony, God gives a man and woman special grace and blessings to build a Christian family together.
Scheduling Your Wedding
The decision to unite in marriage requires careful deliberation and spiritual preparation. To schedule your wedding at St. Edward Church, please contact the Parish Office at least six months prior to the desired date of marriage so appropriate arrangements can be made.
